Alright so i have a 92 civic dx with a d16y7 engine swap, and for some reason it like missfires between 1700-2000 rpm and i cant figure out why. I put new plugs and wires in it seemd to help a little but the problem just came right back. next thing im thinking about is maybe my coil pack? any other suggestions on what it could be?

sometimes i get a cel, but then itll go away and come back. its kindof random. and i cant get it checked because autozone and adv auto only have obd2 not obd1

 

There's a sticky at the top of this section on how to check CELs. Use that.

 

bump! anyone else have any thoughts on what it could be? cel comes and goes and right now its not on

 

Just fixed something similar.... Check/change the dizzy cap and rotor

 

Pull the damn CEL code! All you need is a paper clip!

alright so i just checked it and it was throwing codes 10 and 43. 10 is the IAT (intake air temp sensor) i knew that one, then the other was 43 which is the fuel supply system. But what fuel supply system? like fuel pump? injectors? what? help please?!
