Ok so i currently have a jdm gsr trans with optional lsd and im having problems with the factory lsd. its making clanking noises and it seems to be jumping into what seems like full posi. im just gonna have a quaife installed but i have read that the jdm gsr trans have a diff ring gear and that ill have to find a usdm ring gear with the same 4.4 final drive... is this true and if so where can i find just the ring gear with out just buying a junk trans and hoping gear inside is in descent shape... and if anyone has any advice on what sytle bearing is best to run on diff... any input is greatly appreciated...

 

itr and gsr are the same its the ls thats different.
