Default Lopey idle, lean condition?

Well I got my car running (it was sitting at previous owner's for 3 years with snapped t-belt), and I have JG 301 cam's in it, but I know they are not big enough to cause this kind of idle, I'm assuming it's a very lean condition.

Only mods are I/H/E/cams. Stock pump and injectors.

I'm thinking the pump may be filthy and clogged from sitting, I haven't checked it yet because my year integra I need to drop the tank to get to the pump.

Any input is appreciated.

Check to make sure you don't have a vacuum leak at the TB gasket...it's easy to put it on backwards and make a small leak at the front corner. All the air bypassing the TPS makes it idle like poo.
JW is there a strong smell of gas?

I never took the tb off so I know I didn't put it on backwards. And the leak would cause a high idle would it not? I'll take some carb cleaner around the IM to check for vac. leaks.

The only cell is for a coolant temp sensor. But it was throwing that code before I replaced the head, so it's a different temp. sensor now. Haven't checked to make sure all the injectors are working, I'm going to get it tuned next week after I get the wideband and I'm throwing in my old DSM 450's, So when I go to put those in I'll make sure they are all firing.

I'm saying when the original build took place did the guy you got the car from put the gasket on correctly? I did this when I re-cammed my car last summer and sent mt TB out to maxbore. My buddy put it on backwards and it made it idle like Vtec Killers and smelled like gas.

It was completely stock when I got it (from the original owner) so I doubt it was ever taken off. I'll check for vacuum leaks tomorrow

It's a mixture of old and new, not too much old gas, it was on E with the old gas, so I added about 2 gallons of new gas just so it would run enough for me to fiddle with it.

BTW the old gas is 5 years old lol.

I bet the mix of OLD gas plus is pretty much water at this point and it watered down the new gas as well. Throw some stabil and a few more gallons in that thing and see if it helps. Hell if you have to take the fuel line off the rail and prime out all the gas thats in it and start fresh. I had to do that before....but to pass emissions haha.

Cool thanks guys, I figured that old gas would cause it to idle like ***, but I figure there was so little because it was under E. Ill try that out and get back to you after.
