What size door speakers come in a 98 civic ex?
Don't remember off hand but if you're shopping for speakers go here.

I stand corrected, standard 6.5" do fit. However "oversize" 6.5" do not, which may be the case with my Polks and several other speakers out in the market. That is not to say 5.25" will not fit; the OEM baffle even has 4 holes to bolt it on.
I knew I read somewhere about 6.5" not fitting...it's the oversized ones that don't.

Well some manufacturers, market speakers as 6.5/6.75 those are typically bigger.

I had some old kicker ds650's, what a PITA.
The terminals were on the sides,
No way of getting them to fit without chopping up the pannel. But, 9 times out of 10, the baffle, or the "cup" will need to be removed, unless you're speakers are pretty shallow.
Are you sure that isn't that issue? The cup takes minutes to remove.
