Eg Hatch/B20 engine and B16 tranny swaps - won't start, tranny locked up

i just swapped a b20b with a b16tranny into my hatch. tranny locked up on me when i was puttin in back on. trying to start it and nothing , my battery is fine . car started when there was a charge from the starter to the battery . wont go into gear since its locked . CAN ANYONE PLZ HELP WITH THIS!!!!
