car wont start.. help a brotha out pllleeeeeeease

car wont start.. help a brotha out pllleeeeeeease
so i dropped a b20 in an eg hatch... everything installed but the tranny ground.. i dont have a suficient cable to put in... the one i have is for a small bolt but the tranny uses a bigger sized bolt... so i put a ground from the chasis to the starter instead..
i hoping it might be just the ground put maybe by my symptoms you guys can tell me somethign i overlooked.
got all power on all my electronics. battery has plenty of juice. i tried jumpstarting the car and nothing. when i turn the key on to ignition my relay under the dash goes nuts clikcing. (ive heard this is normal so ... ok) after like 10 seconds. the clicking stops but the motor doesnt crank at all.
anything it could be???? besides that ground... i wont be able to get a good wire until tomorrow

tranny ground won't keep your car from starting. When you tried to jumpstart it, did you connect the jumpers to your battery, or to the starter? Try it to the starter

tranny ground won't keep your car from starting. When you tried to jumpstart it, did you connect the jumpers to your battery, or to the starter? Try it to the starter

i did it to the battery... and i keep hearing the starter click... so im assuming that its still good. there shouldnt be a reason why it went bad.. but who knows... im gonna take it out in the morning and test it out see if comes to life
