does pillowball type coilovers really make a lot of noise?

My recently purchased eg hatchback came with an Aragosta coilovers. it makes a lot of noise when driving on a bad road. i had it checked, and i was told that pillowball kind of coilovers really makes a lot of noise. is this true?

They make more noise than standard bushing coilovers but if they're really really loud then the bearing might have to be replaced or at least serviced if possible.

 

Replace them with standard rubber if you can, they serve no discernable purpose on double wishbone cars other than to increase NVH.

 

if I will replace it with the standard rubber, you mean by putting the stock rubber?

 

If there is an option for you to replace the top mounts with a standard style one, whether they are from the coilover manufacturer or OE (if possible), then I would be doing that.
