Does anybody know if this bumper can be replaced with one from another year? Even if that means having to cut it a little bit. I'm trying to find a replacement for my 93. I looked through the interchangeable thread but didn't see anything pertaining to the rear bumper.

 

93-97 all the same

 

I'm fairly sure the rear bumper on 93-97 is the same bumper. There were changes made to the rear deck in both 96 & 97 but I never found out what they were, they might have been seal, drainage, or hinge related because the bumper is shared between years.

You can even transplant front bumpers from 93-95 to 96-97 and vice versa, so long as you deal with the aux lights.

 

my bad, i should've clarified - i meant if it was interchangeable with other civics.. not just other del sols. I'm talking primarily rear, i know the front bumper has a couple different cutouts.

 

not really no. the body lines wont match up. not to mention itd look hideous.
