Default Injector Question

I'm cleaning up my injectors, TB, IM, and Plenum and eveything else in that general area.

I got to my injectors which I have to buy a few injector seal kits (just cause they've never been replaced.)
I noticed on one of my injectors I'm missing what I would call A small plastic filter cap thing.

This is what mine looks like (WITHOUT the cap).( Right end of injector next to o-ring.)

And this is what its supposed to look like. With the small black plastic filter cap thing. ( Far left end of injector is what your looking at)

My question, Is this going to hurt my car if i dont have it? and I've looked on google for an hr now and cant find what its called exactly or how to get it. please help.

You can order them from Injecto Motriz Part# 010F. Or you can see if you can salvage one or two from a Junk yard. All the 90-02 Accord, Civic, Preludes, Integra etc etc have them. Ask around with local Honda guys, I'm sure someone will have a few stock injectors lying around.

If you have a hard time finding them. I have a few laying around here that I could ship down to you.

Ok another question. Would it be ok to run my car without those filters on the ends of the injectors or is that running to big of a risk?

Honesty, they are there as a last resort filter. If you run clean gas and your fuel filter is new. I wouldn't see any harm. However, if your fuel system is rusty and old. I wouldn't chance it. It's a $2-4 part (if not free) that can be found with a few phone calls.

Awsome.
I try to keep everything on my car CLEAN. So yeh I keep everything clean and fairly new.
Just so Happens the Fuel Filter only has 10k miles on it so I think Ill just leave out the mini filter, because honestly when I pulled them out they weren't even that dirty.
Best part.... No rust anywhere, cause thats how I roll XD.
