and my compression isn't good before installation? wats the worst that can happen? on my 95 gsr say it was 200, 210, 190, and 10

 

dont waste your time with a turbo. rebuild your motor. are you serious?

 

well my gsr is fairly stock and it still runs good. i still managed a 14.9 with only aem cai and exhaust. some say i did my compression test wrong but i rechecked it like 4 times. oh yea and im burning oil...i don't kno where im losing it from. blue smoke out my exhaust. car runs strong as hell tho...its weird. could it be my vavle seals? piston ring? 107k miles on my gsr

 

yeah either valve stem seals or ring. sounds like fried ring. 14.9? thats crazy on essentially 3 cylinders. i am having a hard time understanding that one.

 

Only a differential pressure ("leak down") test can determine that without removing your head, but I suspect the worst from your description. Have you noticed any kind of misfire or rough idle lately? You may also want to be sure that there is no oil/coolant transfer in either direction. This is very easy to confirm by simply checking your oil for milkiness and coolant overflow tank for oil floating on top. I would also check your valve lash before actually removing the head or engine. Good luck.

if it is the rings, or something internal, you might want to be careful as to not damage the cylinder walls.... rebuild

 

no rough idle. like i said. car runs perfect....i can't notice anything different.
