Default Urgent/Asap - Headlight Painting, What to do to the reflectors?

*underlined the main points*

Okay, so I decided to paint my headlights. I am currently waiting for the first coat to dry a bit.

I was looking at this tutorial (http://brokenlimitsorg.tripod.com/hbake.htm) and saw the guy used Aluminum Tape on the orange reflectors.

Does this work good? Should I go over the reflectors with the same black paint I'm using on the rest of the light? Or just leave them oem, orange?

Will the light still go through the aluminum tape or black paint?

My car theme is black/white/red and the orange throws it off a bit which is why I wanted to change them.
