OK, so the car has been sitting for about 3 months. The battery had died one day and I have another car so I just left it. I go out there yesterday and replace the battery click to position 2 I hear the fuel pump doing its thing then I try and start it and there is absolutely no noise... nothing. Hmm ok check my ignition switch wires (they had been replaced over the summer) and they are still good. OK so I check the connections on the starter, AH HA one is loose, tighten it up and figure I am good to go. Put the negative back on the battery and the car trys to start (scared the crap outta me by the way). So at this point I am not sure what to do. Asking you guys/gals if you know something I dont. The starter will even be going crazy when the ignition wires are unplugged.

 

Check your ignition wires because there swapped, it needs to be a switched 12+v, not constant

 

Will go recheck, but it was trying to start and the harness was unplugged.

 

Oh crap haha, I tightened it so much that the two connections were touching on the starter... haha noob. The (+) wire on the starter isnt getting enough power so I will replace it.

 

So is the problem fixed? 94
