Icon2 Throttle limiter

High all, I've tried searching for information on installing a throttle limiter on a '94 Civic EX with no luck. I would like to do something to limit how much throttle is available since my son feels the only way to drive is going 30+ over the posted speed limit . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing that I can think of. That throttle will be limited once his license is removed from him if it gets to that point!

It wouldn't matter since he can still speed in slower speed zones, not just on the highway. Unless he needs it for work or something, take it away from him all other times. I hope you aren't paying for his tickets. Sooner or later he'll get his license suspended and then it won't matter whatsoever.

take the keys away. easy as that. if he's not smart enough to drive right don't let him do it at all.

or be real nice and call the cops on him yourself. if thats what it takes to learn the lesson.

and as marc said, even though you could with alot of work, make his speed limited he can always just go faster in slower speed zones.

Take the keys away.

Or spend a few thousand dollars on a complicated GPS/ECU thingy that detects speed limits and cuts fuel off at 5mph over.

I really can't think of anything that would work well. Throttle limiters really aren't safe anyway, there are times you need to be able to accelerate quickly to get out of the way of an oncoming car/animal, etc.
