How do you know it has eagle rods just by pulling off the head? And how do you know what comp ratio the pistons are just by looking at them? lol

Supertech springs and retainers are probably the most affordable.

Depends on your hp goals.

But that's a great deal, I love when people don't know what they have and sell it for dirt cheap.

Stock bore w/ GSR crank right?
Skunk2 Pro 1's with a Performer X IM and 68mm TB and bigger injectors will go a long ways.

Anyways ya I keep getting told about pro1s n then I hear blox type b cams but I would like to see 210 that's my goal

At this point measuring should be a top priority so you know exactly what you are dealing with. Personally if the person who rebuilt that motor had a brain they bored it out .25 to .50 to get true and fresh cylinder walls to run forged pistons on.

Well the cylinder walpls looked very fresh n I would
f guess they were freshly honed cuz it didn't look like the motor was ran too long at all honestly I mean the pistons were still very clean on top and in the oil pan area it looked great too so I don't know for sure but I'd say it was bored over a lil to say the least if not new sleeves I read somewhere that says those pistons require a .95 bore or new sleeves but I dunno I love that I got an awesome deal on it but hate not knowing the build specs unless I tear it apart which I can't do

The reason it would need a .95 over-bore is because forged piston swell in the holes once they get hot. If thats the case them they are probably considered 81.5mm pistons.

Lol stolen no well not something I stole who knows anymore with Honda parts but anyways ok on the bore cuz it def looks fresh in there...as far as being ran honestly couldn't of been ran that long to tell u the truth the moron I bought it from said he bought a teg but the motor wasn't in it but car came with it and probably stuck motor in a car n then it leaked oil everywhere like it did me. Instead of taking it apart n fixing it he said f it n sold it to me. I think the guy before him had the motor built with a built head but took head off for a stock one with b16 cams and degreed them with cam gears to make sure it run right but forgot to install headgasket wrong. Or maybe this dude I got it from was just a moron cuz he didn't seem bright at all. The motor as it sits right now has only ran for ten min then the 14 mile drive back to my house on the obd2 p72 and 93 octsne my buddy told me it will be fine to drive home and then back to his shop when we install cams and chipped ecu then. I was just expecting a basic bolt on gsr swap now I've gone into build mode but I wanna see 210 at least
