Default Advise please.

Okay so i have been building this motor for awhile and its basically done but i have problems. The motor is a F22a6 block with a F22b2 head. Ive heard of people putting a6 heads on b2 blocks and it work so i figured it would work fine. I got the block cleaned and bored .20 over with over-sized pistons, and the head got ported, polished, decked and a valve job. The only problem i have is the coolant pipe of the back of the motor i just cut the a6 one and used a coolant hose to connect them so it would fit with the b2 thermostat housing. But it leaks so is there one off another motor i could use? Also when i pulled off the pipe there was oil in with the coolant I'm not sure if this is from when i had head problems before and the fluids are still together because i never drained them. Then I had the head sent for some work but after i drain all the fluids and run it again if it still happens i have no idea on what the problem would be. So any help would be appreciated

The cooling tube on the rear of the engine that you should be using is the one that matches the intake & thermostat housing. Therefore you should use the F22B1/2 metal cooling tube.

Just out of curiosity, why are you using the B2 head vs any one of the F22A* heads?

Because my b2 snapped the crankshaft in half and the motor i bought was an a6 but the head was ****ed so i had to use my b2 head

And the b2 coolant tube doesnt have all the ports that the a6 block needs. like the coolant hose coming off the oil filter housing.

Wow that sucks, an F22ax motor with a B2 head, almost blasphemous lol.
I think Ghost is bringing this fact up because the f22a head is the best flowing f series sohc head available and the B1 is pretty much the worst.

Yeah i know, but i had to work with what i could find at the time. I dont plan on having the motor too long. I started saving up for a new motor.
