So I have a 89' crx (4 injectors) with a tc-05a dizzy with one of the plugs has 7 prongs

I bought another 89 dizzy(tc-07) not knowing about the dual point and multivalve system til now. And this plug has 5 prongs... I should have checked first with the prongs before purchasing, but I was just eager to buy another dizzy.


My question, could I just switch the igniter and igniter coil without running into any problems? or is there a way I can switch the prongs? Or what could I do with this situation?



Personally I don't think it will, but I can't confirm that.

your going to have to get the correct 7 pin dizzy

If my memory serves me right, i believe you can swap the coil inside the distributor.
Open the distributor and see if they look the same. You already bought it, might as well make use of it.
