Default ef code 9

im throwing a code 9 and my 1st cylinder is misfiring

switched wiring many times and even switched the sensor like 3 times
also dizzy is new

i have a 2nd gen dohc zc
if anyone knows please help

did you hook up the exhaust cam sensor? i think that causes the code 9 on that engine

yes i did
i jus fixed the misfire right now. had two wires crossed.
but the cam sensor has been changed like 3 times and i even re wired it

If you want to find out your code 9 and keep the engine from shitting itself, read the whole thread for every possible solution to the problem

im thinking its in the dizzy wiring cause it never popped up until i bought my new dizzzy

i switched around a few thing and nothing worked
still have the code

jus did
fiddled with a few of the connectors also and the light went away
and ecu isnt blinking
ima test drive it and see if it stays off

light stayed off all throughout test drive

idle is a lil low trhough so ima mess with that tomorrow
