Default ZC swap suspension question

I'm hoping this picture saves me lots of explaining through typing.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... no you don't. unless you get a super rare transmission the only zc that had equal length axles is the DOHC zc. the single cam is the same as the d15/d16 in your car.

secondly, the dohc zc axles WILL fit your stock crx hubs, unless you have an HF, which you don't.

thirdly, you use the WHOLE assembly. knuckle, rotors, hubs, calipers, etc.

don't forget you'll need a larger brake booster and master cylinder to properly use the DA brakes

**** man... I guess I have no idea what tranny they sent me with the sohc ZC.

I tested both sets of axles...

The equal length axles are the only ones that fit properly in the tranny side. (spline wise)

what the hell?

I just double checked that they didn't send me a DOHC tranny with my SOHC... it does appear to be the correct tranny.

They also sent me this adapter which appears to be designed to make one of the equal length axles longer. (you can see it in the picture.)

I'm so confused....

use your stock knuckles/hubs

bolt the intermediate axle shaft onto the back of the block like my picture below - uses special shoulder bolts - ones from Integra work - Honda part #90102-SF1-000

use the equal length axles in the picture - one on left in picture is for the passenger side

everything should bolt right up

Thanks for the info guys, after looking at all my stuff closer... yes, the only non-stock parts I use are the axles and the intermediate shaft.

It's just too bad I let hmotorsonline sell me these integra hubs, knuckles and brakes for no reason.
