turboing my b18b1
I just recently purchased a b18b1 97 integra. its in great shape with rebuild. everything besides engine was modded, suspension stabilisers ect.
I have decided to turbocharge it as im used to my eagle talon and this feels much slower, but its my daily driver and i need it done fast so i would pay a shop to do so, im only looking for 5psi on a small turbo possible t25.
Does anybody know a place in colorado that would turbo my car?

Never done a NA turbo and never had a honda before and not sure of much, im only used to eagle talons and doing turbo swap on those are simple, doing a NA to a turbo should be much more difficult. I also work 5 days a week so would need a shop to do it in fast time. If i did myself would take too long.
i would do it for u if u lived closer lol, its fun, a few points to help u along the way is to make sure u use an oil restrictor when feeding the turbo because 70psi will blow all the seals in your brand new turbo and make sure that your return line is nice and straight with no kinks so gravity can do its job and get the oil out of there also i welded my bung in the pan instead of tapping it cuz ive seen alot of those that leak.

Alright and there are alot of weird wireing inside the car aswell, not audio or anything, on the battery there is a HUGE disc with like 6 wires coming out of the battery to the bottom of the engine. What could that be? The person who owned it before me was a very good performance mechanic and owns around 10 cars, sold to me because hes my boss and somone stole my talon. He wont tell me the mods the car has but it does feel much faster than what a 1.8 non vtec is supost to be. massive 2nd gear burning and a final 3rd gear cherp.
sounds like an engine grounding kit to me, but idk..but if its already fast, its probably built for all motor, id ask him for the compression ratio before putting a turbo on it..
i have a chinese ebay turbo and i have no problems with it at all ive also installed 3 others that have been on for 3 years or so and no problems and one gay doesnt even run a filter on his. the old chinese housings used to brake but they changed how theyre made now so theyre alot stronger so when mine does go i will just rebuild it with garrett internals. the only thing i didnt like that i got with my kit was the silicone couplers they were cheap. im totally satisfied with what i got for the money, oh ya i also didnt like the bov so i bought a turbo xs rfl and its f*cking awesome so loud ive made ppl jump off the sidewalk into bushes when i shift lmao. but if u want a better turbo then just buy the turbo and order the other stuff from ebay. i spent a thousand on my kit and my tune was 600 i bought the bov and autometer gauges for 200 and i made my own downpipe so id say im right around the 2000 mark for everything
He wont tell me because hes trying to make me figure it out myself, known him 5 years he isnt screwing me over or anything he just wants me to be more in tune with hondas since he knows i dont know anything about it. compression is 350-370psi on each cyl 0-60mph in around 5 seconds and it still passes emissions, i know its not supost to be that fast but it has a nice launch controll no lift setup
Whiterice gsr youve been very helpful, i have TONS of dsm parts will they fit into my honda? i have a t25 and a 14b turbo. fuel pumps injectors ect. will they fit together? If they do all i need is the headers to the turbo and thats all i need. i could def do the rest

they are on ebay for sure i run the ramhorn cuz i love how it looks i also run dsm 450cc injectors but hondas are high impedance so if youre gonna use those u need a resistor box from an older honda when they used to use them stock i pulled mine out of a prelude at the junk yard for 10 bucks. go on ebay and just type integra turbo and everything should come up, alot of guys buy the cast log style manifold because theyre strong but theyre so friggin ugly, check my garage if u wanna see a pic of my engine bay.
external wastegate, our dsm cars are internally wastegated unless u change it, the ram horn one looks the best, but most guys run the cast brick manifold style one..but id check your motor out man, bc it seems like u got a high compression all motor car, and u dont normally wanna turbo a high compression motor unless its built for it and u have a good tuner
