Default Garrett turbo help please

Hi i have searched and unable to identify which version Garrett turbo I have hope someone can help and give me the information needed.

The details off the turbo

Garrett DE 0143j
17200-225387
707847-1
A/R 42 M27
A/R 64 M3

Pictures off the turbo











I have managed to get the measurements of compressor and turbine wheels In MM

Inlet Inducer compressor wheel



Inlet exducer compressor wheel



Exhaust inducer turbine wheel



exhaust exducer turbine wheel



Hope someone confirm what turbo this is

It's a straight t3 50 trim turbo good for about 250-260hp

It. Will provide a good powerband and quick spool

That would be fantastic if you could find out for me. Thank you very much for your help.

Thanks for the input chaps just need to confirm 100% which turbo this is as some people are saying its a T25 some say T28 and now T3

Well, its definately, T25 flanged internally gated, but that doesn't mean much in terms of the wheels inside of it. Time to stop listening to those pesky "some people".

So its either a T28 or a T3? But 100% not a T25 Turbo. Did you manage to check your resources to confirm? Sorry about all the questions i just wanna be 100% sure. Also if it is the t3 whats the difference between T25 and T3

In need of some info if anyone can help please. Will I need to run a oil restrictor on the oil feed line? The oil feed line will be connected to the sandwich plate. This is for a civic b18c4

it can go in line on your tee fitting there or it can go directly on your turbo, do a search on ebay and u will see pics of what i mean.

Thanks for the reply. What I need to no is do i need to use a oil restrictor? If I do which size do I need to get -3 or -4

Am getting mixed reviews some saying I wont and other saying I will

you won't know the answer to that question until it is hooked up to the car based upon your oil pressure. NEver use one unless necessary. you're at a point its time to install now.
