6 in 1 merge collector help needed!
Hello everyone.
I am coming with a tricky question.
I want to fabricate a 6 in 1 merge collector and I have absolutly no clue on how to do it.
So....if there's anybody out there who can help me please do so!
I am really desperate because I have a client waiting and I don't want to dissapoint him!
Cheers!

Wouldn't it be a 60* cut for all six pieces??..Don't forget to account for blade deflection if you use an abrasive saw. 11.5 is a good intersection angle but you will need more length in the collector.
I think that for the 4 ones on the outside is enough but about the 2 ones on the center....you need to do 3 cuts on them not only 2 like on the other 4.
Please do tell!
Just look at this thread you should be able to figure it out pretty easily.

Just practice with PVC pipe till you get it right.

6-1's are a 60 degree rotation in each direction from the 0 plane. With splayed collectors the 0 plane is wherever you reference your first cut from. With parallel collectors, the 0 plane is referenced where the center line of tube rotation and the cutter are perpendicular.
Thanks crmb.
So...basicly it's an 120 deg rotation?
I can't get how do you make the center ones??
Could you,please, be more explicit?
Thank you very much!

SMH. if you want a circle outlet 120 deg rotations will create a circle outlet.
if you want a rectangle. the two outer pipes on each side are made just as if it were a 4-1 collector but the 2 inner ones are cut 180 degrees from eachother. meaning like a perfect Y to splice in the middle. creating a 6-1
