Ive got a 95 hatch with a b18 motor. It sat for about 10 months before I got it running. At anywhere from 25% to 50% throttle the car seems to lose power. And I got a vibration (solid mounts) all over the car like a cylinder is missing really bad. The Ecu is a phearable chipped and I've replaced plugs, wires, ignition control module and coil. It cleaned up a little but still not 100%. Any ideas?

No cels. And I drained the gas and put 93 in. Then a bottle of iso-heet. I dunno what the issue is.

 

Then, Without any real info to go on I'm going to have to say it's your basemap because "seems like" isn't really an accurate description.
What color is your spark?

 

Well, the loss of power is there. the car falls on its face. I hope it's not the basemap. Spark is good and strong. A friend of mine said maybe a tps but I don't think that would cause it. It's only when it's under a load.

 

Test the TPS.

 

Wouldn't that throw a code though?

 

I'm flailing in the dark and you have an answer for everything I suggest. Hopefully someone else can think of something else.

 

Have you used that basemap on that motor before without problems? Id say check your cap and rotor then make sure all your injectors are working.

When I put it in. I'm going to call phearable and ask about it. They did it all for me.

 

Did you test all your spark plugs? I had a problem like this once, it was a spark plug wire that went. it was like hitting a brick wall. Just something to rule out i guess.
