Hey everyone haven't been on hondatech for awhile but was hoping i could get some input, a couple days ago i picked up a pretty clean 00' gsr teg its black 10/10 interior overall pretty decent looking car and suprisingly no mods, it was a steal i had found it on craigs asking for 5k i talked him down to 4k. my parents actually picked it up for me im currently not home im a marine stationed in okinawa japan, but cant wait to see it, it has 122k miles anyways ill be posting pics soon, my question is where do i start if i want a 350hp dd out of it, ill im looking not to spend over 15k but should i start thinking about the bottom end maybe some low compression pistons, sleeved? rods, ect. i got a buddy who does port polishing and he does nice work who said for 200 he'd do a 3 angle job on the head anyways i just am excited to start building it, pics will be up soon!!

 

Pistons, rods, arp studs injectors(or you can clean your stock injectors and see where that takes you), the oem fuel pump should be fine, but if you want to upgrade just in case you can and you should be good to go for 350 at the crank with something smallar like a gt28 bb would be great. If you don't want to go with Garrett that's fine too. That sounds like close to 5-6k to me.
