many thanks for a quick response. i want to collect here Honda (mainly civics) ecus schematics and diagrams, board components and detail what do what. i searched and found few sites but often they are one project specific like chipping. one such example is below link:
http://qcwo.com/technicaldomain/1992...p-installation
i hope it ok to past links here? if not i am extremely sorry but just want to clarify what i am asking.
thanks.

If we could create a sticky at the top of the page about common issues (the iat and evap purge getting switched and burning out the one component on the board) and chipping, adding VTEC, that would be cool.
Here are a couple links that were handy for me recently:
My favorite OBD1 Pinout chart: http://technet.ff-squad.com/wiring.obd1.htm
Interactive ECU pinout chart: http://blackworks.in/load/cars/hondapinout
Peter Linszter's Datalog site: http://www.linszter.net/category/honda-datalog/?lang=en
*My Chilton's Manual 'complete with wiring diagrams', Shows many wires going to the "C" connector on the OBD1 ECU - There isn't one on mine.

I think he's asking more about the ECU internals. I've never seen anything pertaining to those aside from converting certain ones to VTEC, chipping and so on. Never seen anything about repairing them. People usually just secure replacements.
It's getting harder to get replacements, it's getting to a point where the one big electrolyte capacitor is failing from age. Easy fix, just not really documented. Q31 likes to burn up too from switched evap purge and IAT plugs. Again, easy fix, rarely documented.

Ok, seems like i am not getting much help here. No problem, i'll try to put here some links that speak on ECU repairing. again just to ask, can anyone share a list of name components on common Honda ECU boards.
Thread is not on the topic but is indirectly related to my quest.

Im with you i actually need a couple ecu pinouts for a project I'm working on. one for the car a 1996 Honda Accord with a f22b1, and the motor which is a h22a4. I am swaping the motors and really want to make sure the electrical is all right. We just dropped 2600 on the motor, trans, ecu, and everything for the swap. And it would be really shitty to blow it with the electrical. i have the books but it doesn't have the pinouts. So please any info would be awesome.

Seriously though this is the site to go to if you want to find a lot about the ECU

I mean their title is "Hacking up Honda's ECU"

Dear Hero, u are 100% right. it is a very informative site. thanks for guiding. also Do u think there is a site where i can get basic info on components soldered on a common ECU circuit board? mainly it is electronics related question but i am trying to make a list of parts on ECU so that other Noobs like me can learn.

Not really dear RonJ@HT, just want to have an understanding what and how it works, how it could be manipulated and how information can help others. No one will believe if i tell that my electrician is hardly litrate or educated person but he is repairing dead ECUs as he and his helpers have almost memorized all available ECUs diagrams and what component on ECU board do what. And i dont totally like to rely on him.http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...milies/mad.gif
I just stumble upon this site of National Instruments. I think it is a good learning site. they got a page titled "ECU Designing and Testing".

tell me what you ppl think. For me was good for knowledge.

Poster stop posting information 5 years ago.
No schematics are available for Honda ECU's or thew would have already posted them over the years.
And yes, I have looked myself over the rears since and found none for any Honda ECU.
