I've heard good things about the pistons I'm about to use a set. But I wouldn't use any of the other parts in that package

Yes rings are good..Idk I'd only use OEM gaskets and seals. Main things I wouldn't use is head gasket and bearings unless you check with them and everything is in spec

Nope I personally wouldn't use ctrs. I'm using sonethin with lower compresion, I'm boosted. Dont think I'm saying not to use ctrs, cuz I'm not making this into one of those discussions

na nah i getch yah! im not lookn to run boost in the DA so ctr are pretty ideal for me.

hey dirty how bowt the seals an gasket etc. heard anythink about them?

the piston's are almost half what you would pay for here. so i was thinking
of getn the piston's an ring's then selln the rest an make a bit of money.
as i am also with Dc4Lsteg, OEM is the way to goe!

those nippa's have poured millions into research and development for there product's

The gaskets should be fine, there isn't much to a gasket, so you can't really mess it up lol. And nippon has always come through with stuff like that. I just remembered I used a Nippon oil pump/cover, and gaskets with my 4g63, worked great.

I was mainly talking about the head gasket. The other gaskets should be fine

still after info about experiance you guy's have had with this

dont think ill use the headgasket. but what about the bearing's? are they swt to use

and a noob question- Would i have to change fuel an air after installing high comp pistons?

or get it tuned?

Dont plan on geting any upgrades for awhile could i wait till then to tune

Yes you would have to get a tune, because since your motors going to have a high compression ratio than stock. Your stock map wont supply the right mixture, and it will most likely run like ****. You can get a cheap basemap tuned to your setup from Phereable or someone similar.
