Sick, Im hoping to see Honda come back to F1 as an engine supplier with a similar motor for the new rules in 2013.

A few more pics of the new V6 engine, and of the Formula F(ord) Honda HPD L15A7, and the outgoing Honda IndyV8 engine.

Mmm that V8. Art.

The V6 is interesting. Cant wait to see what comes of that. Wish more of this hit production models and they actually still made a fun (proper) car to put it in.

For the Honda V6, the turbochager is a single Borg Warner unit based on the EFR 9180, but with a custom compact center section and housings so that it can fit inside the bellhousing. I'm interested to see what the powertrain looks like assembled, weird imagining a turbocharger inside a bellhousing.

If the turbocharger is indeed in the bellhousing I'm also curious how well it will be cooled...

Awww I miss the sound of a turbo charged Honda cart/champcar/indy car engine...

I wonder if the new V6 will sound like these old Turbo'd Honda's?:
