so i have been gathering parts, and i finally have all the parts i need. ill be taking pictures along the way and ill post here with what comes up! here are a few to start u off with.

Oh man! I wish my local junkyard had an Si in stock - I would love to do the same to my project hatch. Keep those pictures coming. One more thing, in case you have not seen this article:

Does your dx have factory provisions for the drain tubes?

 

he is the actual reason im doing this lol!!
yes the car has the spots in the pillars for the hoses but the fronts are a PAIN IN THE *** to put in, the rears are easy

 

so that's all it takes is to remove those screws and the roof is off?

I would imagine that it's spot welded all the way around.

 

yeah its a bunch of spot welds thats it. but once its all off there will be rust to attend to and holes to fill. after that everything has to be grinded down and fit into place. then welded back together. i SHOULD be finishing it today. ill let you all know how it goes!

well the sunroof works! but there is still alot of work to be done. not sure if im going to fill in the drip rails to make it look like one body or not yet i still havent decided
