Dude has obviously made several modifications to that car by just looking at that one picture.

There was a thread a long time ago detailing how to install that little pocket door.

Hmmmmm..... Looks like a cool mod to have because everything I put in the oem pocket end up flying and landing in between the seats and console.

From the early 2000 accords, part number 77280-S84-A11ZA

You'll need to make some brackets to attach it to the radio but it isnt hard. Just thin steal with 4 holes drilled in it.

I have one in the mail. I'll post pics when I install it. Mine will be getting installed with my alpine but I'll show how it works with the stock radio too.

How so? It is the exact same thing as the picture in the OP. Bolt on, no. But should only need two custom brackets. It is the right physical dimensions.

Found this in a thread from a couple years back:

that is a 98-00 accord din pocket. It fits like your DIN pocket you showed, but it does sit flush like a blockoff plate. You can look on ebay for the DIN slot pocket from the JDM EGs..

Got my bucket of parts from HPU yesterday. Here is the the pocket installed. No modifications to it. I chose to use the radio brackets from the corresponding model accord and just cut the mounting ears off with a grinder. Mocked it up with the stock radio too without problems. I think it will stay in there but I'll decide for sure once I get my interior back together.

(sorry about the BS iphone pics)

Looks good, I have that same deck but looking to get a double din considering it fits perfect in our center console.

Thanks. I used to have a w505(alpine double din) but downsized my stereo to save weight and replaced the deck at the same time. I like having the ***** and buttons more than the touchscreen and the double din became a little pointless when I put the FLP shifter in.

Found this in a thread from a couple years back:

Interesting, I returned it back thinking the back flared way too much to fit.

I'll re-order and actually try installing it since the weather is better.
