hello forum,im looking for some input on a recent motor swap i completed,i have a 1998 honda accord coupe in which i just installed a 2002 2.3 v-tech. i realize the computer programs for the two engines are completly different so i used the same computer(pcm) from the 2002 engine. i also kept the same trans from the '02 engine in-tact with the engine when i made the swap. my problem comes when i tried to start the engine it just turns,won't catch,and my green security key in the dash is blinking.when i put the old pcm(from the '98)in it starts but when i drive it after the trans changes to 2nd gear the check engine light comes on and the d4 light in the gear indicator on dash starts to blink,and after a stop it gets real sluggish from first to second but after that drives ok. i know its a computer problem but what i need to know is is there anyway to resolve this immobilizer code issue other than taking it to the dealer? any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

i posted on this page yesterday and didn't get any response so i was surfing and found the other and posted there as well, i'm glad to see that these pages are being viewed on a regular,i really didn't know they were connected. i found a locksmith & i'm waiting on him now,ill be sure & post how it turns out,thanks again
