So I wanna do a rear disk conversion on a 00 dx hatch. I'm going with the scarebird brackets for the rear and oem lines/rotors/calipers/brackets/pads and e brake cables for a 00 si. So far so good?

My question is for the front rotors, are the si rotors bigger than the dx? I'm assuming so. Will I need si knuckles or can I just get the calipers/brackets/rotors and have bolt up no problem?

I've also heard that I don't need a new prop valve or do I? Are they different?

 

I wouldn't buy OEM pads/rotors. Just get a good set of parts store parts, or brembo and a good pad. I like hawk.

Yes, the front brakes on the EX/Si are bigger. 10.3'' on them, 9.6'' for us.

I almost 100% sure you most swap out the kunckles for the bigger SI brakes.

No, your prop valve will be fine, however, if you do the EX/SI front brakes you will want the MC from either car.

 

Yes I am getting the MC from the si as well. I'm just gonna go with brembo blanks since stupid autozone rotors are $200ish for all 4.

Go in the market place on here, and look for IMPORTRP. He is in seattle WA. $122 for all 4 SI rotors, calipers are dirt as well. I will buying my stuff from him too.

Something like $36 for the front, and $70 for the rear calipers.

I have full SI brakes sitting in my garage, and a DX waiting from them.
