i just finish to swap my cx hatch with a gsr engine and the ''arrow'' blinks .. wtf .

 

what ecu are you using??

 

I think somebody switched clusters from a federal vx. The shift light is supposed to tell you when to shift for max mpg.

 

Because it's a VX cluster, not a CX.

 

The cx cluster comes with an upshift light.. You are using the wrong ECU

IIRC cruise and the upshift light both use the same pinout at the ECU, remember that no car had both, you got one or the other (or neither)

im using a po5 ecu .. but actually i just change it to a p28 chipped ecu .
and they do the same thing .

also my car they dont wana start .
i put they key and i try to turn on the car . and i can ear the fuel pump working but . just dont wana start

i dont ear the starter do his job ., but if i put the foward and a screw driver on the starer works .

and the check engine ligth its on all the way . they dont blink or trow some codes , its just there "ON"

also i dont iven wiring the car yet to vtec.
i just wana ear the motor on

i think its just something electrical or the distributor .?

 

Assuming that you don't have cruise control, unplugging connector D at the rear of the cluster should eliminate the shift arrow blinking problem.

 

Check whether the rubber stopper is missing:



Does the CEL remain on steady WITHOUT the service connector jumped?
