The title seems pretty to the point. Im looking for anybody that has a K swapped EF. Im looking for any info, i have picked up a CRX shell with K mounts and im going for the golden land.
Is there anything i need to know or look out for? I have ordered parts for K-tuned conversion harness and A/C P/S delete kit.
And im at the moment sourcing a K20A2 with a built head and stock trans.
So is there anything i need to be worried about with this swap any do's or donts?? I have joined k20.org already and have been reading ppl threads.
thanks in advance

Yes people have swapped a K series in a CRX and there's two or three guys on here that I have seen that have build threads. I'd just use the search engine and see if you can find them. Good luck with the build......it's gonna be digging a deep hole in your wallet. And you may wanna not lower your car if there's a lot of speed bumps or pot holes where you drive, the K series sits pretty low in the EF's and CRX's.
hybrid racing sell a k20 starter kit witch includes about all the swap parts you are gonna need, if you are planing on using ktuned ps ac delete kit then you will have to replace the front cross member, but it you dont use it you would have to cut your core support and headlight for clearance

kinda wondering way you say not to use any other mount kit? i have hasport k20 mount kit and i really like them but i was just wondering if you have personal used any other kit like innovative or hybrid racing to say they are no good?
I was thinking of a K swap in the future. I'm just worried about the clearance of the engine since it's so tall. K20A.org is a good website for all that, but I really hate jumping between forums. I'm a member of a bunch of other forums already as it is.

yea wondering about the mounts as well. Im not worried about hood clearence since i have seen a few k20 crxs with no problems. Just crxs that use k24s have major issues
Here is our hood on our K20 race car, we used spacers on the hinges and also had to cut out a few spots of the inside of the hood to clear. Its a Siebon carbon hood.

Our K-Tuned Traction Bars are now our lowest point on the car for ground clearance. Unless you just like to slam your car all the way to the ground, you should not have an issue lowering the car. We could lower our car another .5" and be fine still..
