Post Tuning with vafc and aem wideband airfuel gauge?

Hi im wonderimg if I can tune the airfuel by using the vafc apexi controler and also the aem airfuel gauge. Im still playing with the vafc and wondering if the I add fuel or distract percentages each rpm and will it really affect if I use the aem airfuel gauge. The aem gauge says it can read rich, lean. Can I change the percentages to each rpm until the aem gauge is best airfuelratio? im waiting on my aem airfuelgauge my cousin sending me in the mail.

And you're going to ask why? A VAFC/SAFC is not a real tuning device.
But if you HAVE to know here's an ancient thread.

if it can only read lean and rich its not a wide band and i do not recommend tuning with that junk.

Do not attempt if you don't know what you are doing.

i just got a chance in trying to street tune the thing my self. im wondering if i am getting power from this thing. it feels alot more responsive, but i want to know if im doing it right.

okay all i know is to tune it WOT. wideThrottle setting open throttle runs.
i assume stock i leave it all zero oem. i see the gauge is lean like min to max (11.6 to 12.2 12.4 AFR. LEAN) STOCK 0%
when wot run.

Then i try adjust it to all rpm Wide TROTTLE setting
(12.6 -13.4?AFR) adjust all rpm -15%

next i tried adjust it to all wide rpm setting
(13.6- 14.7-15.??AFR) adjust all rpm to -34%
i feel like i got it to a little richer than stock close to 14.7, 14.AFR areas.
the lowest i seen it gone is when shifting to second to third gear look like around 3k to 4k dip to 12.4 but jumps back to 14. afr areas??
other than that looks steady between 14.7 areas.

i dont got a datalogger but just remembered and look at the gauge but it seemed it changed the AFR. counts alot from stock???

how do i adj. the narrow throttle setting whats thaT?
did i even gain anything from bumping the AFR. to the rich power setting??
