car wont crank
ive tried searching a few times now, i just went to the docs and had to walk back to work bc my car decided to give me its first problem now, i turn the key, everything comes on, no CEL, no codes flashing on the ECU, fuel pump primes, battery is connected...yet nothing at all happens when i turn the key..everyone says check the main relay, ok what am i checking it for? also i dont have any tools in my car besides a screwdriver, so taking off grounds and stuff aint gonna happen..i need help
someone just told me since my fuel pump primes its not the relay, is there a way i can try and jump start the car? someone said turn key to 3rd position, take a wire and put it where positive is on the starter and then touch it to the battery..should i try that? will that over ride the clutch switch if thats my problem? someone told me to over ride the clutch switch with a paper clip, how the hell do i do that?

since i didnt have time or tools and day light is over, i used the wire from starter to battery and it started rite up..now just gotta figure out what the hell is wrong lol
all my accessories turn on fine and everything, car just doesnt start when i turn the key, but starts rite up when i jump it from starter to battery, what could it be?
ok i was curious so i headed outside with a flash light and a 1in piece of wire, after trying to hard to get my huge hands on the clutch switch with the damn ac vent in the way i gave up and just pulled as hard as i could on the wires running to it and the clip broke but oh well, so i stuck the wire in, and voila, starts rite up..temp fix but i might leave it that way since changing that pedal switch would not be easy
