If u have NO experience tuning and don't plan on paying someone$300-600 worth of tuning, forget about it.

Hi,

DD is very doable but your gonna need someone to tune it for you. Dyno tune recommended for the high RPM area.

I have OBX ITB'S on my vehicle which is a daily driver.

ghost accord DD's ITB's but its tough and requires some spot on tuning.

there are probably cheaper ways to get the same thing without paying for the name.

I've been DD some TWMs on a b16 for a few years now. Had crome on it when i switched over from ITR mani into the TWMs. It ran, but horribly.

You'll have to get atleast Hondata --if not a stand alone-- to get any where near comfortable to drive. I love ITBs but i need more compression. If you're going for any power gains, you'll want to machine the block or switch bottom ends for starters.

@HT023 - I would disagree on the Chrome vs Hondata bit. I am DD mine since 1.5 years with absolutely no issue a rock steady idle and excellent power delivery. Am using Chrome btw.

It all boils down to the tuner and the tune.

yip, toyota 4a-ge 20v itbs and a custom mani would be a good alternative. Speaking under correction but i think these itbs are the same as todas

You need to tune for the TPS voltages at closed throttle and WOT.

toda itb's are freakin expensive. if you're gonna drop that kind of money on a set, get the kinslers instead. way more options that can be tailored for your engine and power goals.

For the price of those you can have a decent turbo setup, and you will gain a lot more power than you would with ITB's. Lots of money, little gain, with ITB's.

I was just sayin... Seems like a waste of money, for that price you could fully build the head, you would get much more out of that than just ITB's.

To the op, OBX ITB's go for $600 on ebay, as opposed to $900 on their website.
