It matters little. B16 flows negligibly higher but has less comp & no quench pads. Do you have an IM preference?

Why wouldn't it be ok for DD? If anything it's better, quench pads, deters detontion/pre ignition.

When he said gsr I read "B18" but now I see your point. OP what I said is for the diff. between B18 and B16 vtec heads.

GSR head is better than B16 anyway IMO, people think that the B16 is better becuase it flows a little better, and is "the same" as a type-r head, it's only the casting that is the same.

There's a really long thread on the all-motor forum about using RDX injectors. It's easy to do now -- just go to Xenocron.com or Rywire.com and you can order the injectors and whatever pigtails and adapters you want. Rosko racing also makes B-series aluminum fuel rails that fit RDX injectors. On the other hand for not a lot more money you can get Injector Dynamics injectors...

Of course you won't need them unless you're >200 whp.

ID injectors are like the FIC injectors which have an advanced spray pattern compared to most other injector companies right?

Yeah it's a more modern style injector -- I don't know the details of why though. A lot of people have gained a few ft-lbs throughout the powerband from switching off RC style injectors. IIRC >5 whp increases for a lot of people...

I think the RDX has a better spray than RC but from what I've gathered on the all motor forum a lot of people consider ID better. There's also no penalty for over-sizing the injectors -- people are having great results with 1000cc injectors on ~200 whp all motor builds.

Yea it's better to go bigger than to go too small, 1000cc's are fine because you can alway adjust pulse width/duty cycle.
