Default Honda Accord no spark

Hey everyone, new to the forums, I had a quick question about my accord, was pulling into the parking lot at my apt the other day and my accord suddenly died while driving, engine will crank but not fire. Did the old screwdriver-cord-engine block trick and I'm not getting any spark. I had been having some problems with hesitation while accelerating but wasnt very bad so I didn't do anything about it. Would the hesitation and eventual dying altogether suggest a specific problem such as the ignition coil, distributor or cap? (checked the rotor it is spinning) Thanks for the help!

how do the metal contacts on the distributor cap and distributor rotor look. if they are worn and/or you see dust in the distributor they probably need replacing. when is the last time the spark plugs were checked or the plug wires were replaced?

I replaced the plugs about a year or so ago, I've replaced the cables only once since 2007, and the contact points in the cap/rotor do look a little worn, I wouldn't think it would be the plugs or wires because I'm not getting a spark through any of the wires.
