Default 95 accord f20b distributor problem

i got a 95 accord that i just swapped a f20b in. my accord is an lx so it external coil. i read that i had to tap the yellow, and black/yellow wires that plugs into the external coil together and leave the green one alone. my question is..can i use a jdm obd1 distributor or do i have to use a usdm obd1 distributor? do i need to rewire anything else for the distributor?
