Default clutch recommendations

bone stock, just looking for which clutches to avoid.
I was planning on just buying from the local auto parts store, like autozone or advanced...
or all they all the same so far as quality, and I shouldnt worry about it?

replacing the pressure plate and throwout bearing also btw...

I've had good luck with Sach's on my old race car...it was a stock replacement, and held up well for years of road racing...
maybe i should just ask the store I go to to get me a Sach's?
just looking for opinions,,,thx

If your bone stock and can change the clutch yourself go to autozone. Lifetime warranty. I've used them for two of my cars. One that I beat the heck out of and they still warranties it for free. An if your looking at OEM clutches they all are basically same. If your plan on "modding" your car then why not spen more money now and get a stronger clutch.

Yeah, I've bought stuff with lifetime warranties from the local auto parts store before...but most of the work always seems to be the installation and removal of the part...and in this case, a clutch/pressure plate isnt just slapped on in an hour or two.

What brand is the lifetime warranty stuff? Beck Arnely? Wearever?

I really dont have any plans to mod the engine anytime soon, so will probably stay with stock for now.
thx

If you have a Bap Geon around you I'd check them out for a OEM clutch. The one near me uses Exedy.....even with a lifetime warranty.....think about....It's just like the movie Tommy Boy when he says why do you think they stamp a warranty on the box? Because they know they sold you a grade A piece of ****.

Clutch can be swapped out in 2 hours. It's a Honda lol. Trans can be dropped like nothing. If your good with tools and cars.
