So I did a auto to manual conversion this weekend and it went pretty well over all. One thing that im not so sure about is that my friend who helped me poured tranny fluid into the hole that is under the vehicle speed sensor mount and as far as i knew the only place tranny fluid should be put in is the fill hole that is on the side right by the drain hole.
if anyone could tell me if what he did was bad i would really appreciate it

This seems to be common practice. My only issue with the method is that, unlike adding MTF at the side fill hole, you don't know whether you have over- or under-filled the transmission with MTF when using the VSS sensor hole.

thats correct way to do it . or how i have always no problems here. theres a bolt on the side of the case that you take out and when you see fluid dripping it means its full and plug it back up with the bolt. 1.8 quarts is what i remember, i would recommend normal 10w30 over mtf now a days also.

well the new version of the honda mtf is a bit thin for the ideal vicosity for honda trans 10w30. the MTF useable and nothing to be worried about if you put it in already but i know things you dont know.
