This is my first car and everything I'm doing to it. Here's the story.

June 2008 - My sister got the car for her birthday. It's a 2001 civic sedan

August 2011 - My sister got a new 2012 Sentra. So the car is mine I guess?

October 2011 - Yeah it's mine, I got my license and drive it but I don't like the look. In those 3 years she put on new wheels(yay), Halo lights(ok), Stick on vents(HELL NO).


November 2011 - I removed those vents. Good enough for the month.

December 2011 - The month of my birthday, also the month I start my first job. I got fog lights, and window visors, then a black grill later.


January 16, 2012 - I redid the visors and replaced the inside of the left/front fender but it doesn't fit correctly (Taiwan made sack of ****) but it'll do.



Next, A front lip shall go on when it comes in the mail.

 

Front lip should be here 23rd-27th.

1-18-12- Front lip came in the mail today, probably going to put it on tomorrow.

Front lip on. I really don't know what to get next. I was thinking of trying to track down a hybrid spoiler or maybe tow hooks so I can destroy the shins of people trying to walk too close to my car. Any suggestions?

 

Lower her or change them rims just in my opinion but if u like them thenkeep them its your car your style!!

 

Yeah the wheels are staying most likely. But yes, I'm saving up for coilovers and I don't want to be a cheap *** and cut the springs. The next thing I'll do is either get new headlights or sideskirts.

 

Sadly auto, it was my sister's car before me and she can't drive stick.

I painted the silver hood trim black to match the grill and lip. It looks so much better, I'm definitely going to get new headlights now.

The headlights came in and I had all the necessary lights for one headlight but I was missing the socket for the passenger side turn signal So I had one oem light and one halo light for a night.


Halo's only halfway light up.

I went to the scrapyard and got a new socket for $5.


Time to get rid of these.


Got it off.


Clusterfock of wiring.


Need to get rid of the LED wires.


Got everything cleaned up and ready for new lights.


All done.

Next I think I'm going to save up for an exhaust/headers or get the Honda trunk lip spoiler like this one:

My insurance is due at the end of this month so I'm going to have to cool it on the upgrades for a while.

 

I am saving for those. I feel like I'm driving a Jeep.

I changed my mind about the wheels. I think I want to get xxr 002's and coilovers. Does anyone know a good set of coilovers for a cheap fck like me?

Well I haven't really been doing much that's why I haven't posted anything in over a month.

I've been having problems with my fender's splash shield. This is the second one that came loose and got destroyed by the tire. The screw holding in my bumper on the driver's side and the little plastic piece that hold's it is gone, this causes my bumper to fall down randomly. Also, this is an aftermarket OEM replica bumper that the 1st owner put on and it fits incorrectly. So I cut all of the splash shield off except for the back section until I can get a replacement.


Then I had to drop her off at the dealership for an oil change and they told me my Valve Cover Gasket was leaking. That was $175 out of my pocket. The exhaust makes my car look like it has a tiny ***** sticking out.


Then I painted my mirrors black.


There is so much I still want to do with this car.

Tail lights
Custom interior
Manual Tranny Swap w/ Boost (Or K-Swap)
Spoiler (Hybrid or Mugen FD2)
New wheels (undecided but I'm getting tired of these Konigs)
I might go to the junkyard to see if I can find a hybrid to jack the spoiler from and look for an exhaust that doesn't look like a chode.

 

K-swap on ES1 i never heard that but go for it dude..

i recommend you the FD2 or mugen si spoiler and this taillights will look sick!!
