Like the title says the seatbelt beeper won't stop beeping, any ideas?

 

check that all your doors are closed all the way.

my door is bent and wont close all the way and im still too lazy to replace it. i just unplugged the little sensor that tells it when the door is closed and presto! no more beeping

 

Well, my driver side door has been replaced before I got the car but it shuts fine. I'm gonna assume that the little switch that tells the sensor that the seat belt is retracted is bad. How do I go about bypassing that?

 

Or call the dealer, I think these still had the "lifetime" warranty......I think Honda changed that in early 2000.....worth the call.
