Acura Integra All Integra Except ITR

Will i have any issues running an LS tranny in a 99 GS-R?

Default Will i have any issues running an LS tranny in a 99 GS-R?

I have a 1999 GS-R, i popped my dif (blew apart the tranny pretty much i guess) I had an ITR tranny. I got a good price for a used LS tranny. How different will that be and what will i notice as a difference> Thanks.

Gear ratios are a bit longer, but it will work jsut fine.

i would try and salvage what you can from the itr tranny and use the ls casing. see if you can find another itr or an s80 diff.
the ls trans is gonna make the car feel like a dog

I concur...BUT if its your daily the increase in mpg will be nice on the wallet...even though its only a couple but hey.
