What im getting is 10 from the CEL for IAT and the srs i am clueless. Any help would be appreciated!

Reset the ECU to see whether code 10 returns.

The SRS light blinks codes for the airbag system, much like the CEL does for engine sensors.

 

Reset and still returns. What can be done to insure IAT works other than checking the wiring and what not?
I know to check voltage and ohms but the car cranks but wont start after changing the tps. would the reading be correct
with motor not running or been ran lately?

I take the srs code as 9-2, internal failure, correct?

 

What car are we talking about?

Is the IAT sensor disconnected or plugged into the wrong connector?

 

Sorry, its the 97 ex w/h22 using obd2a-obd1 with p13. The iat is plugged in with correct connector. have traced the wires and everything is where it should be. I found a post that you had on another thread with the troubleshooting. I am going to try that tomorrow and put an update up.

 

wasn't able to get the iat checked today. i went and tried to start it for the fun of it and it just cranks. it acts if it wants to start, small backfire and what not. it starts for about 6 seconds then when trying to give it gas, it bogs. would the iat cause it to that?
