h22 injectors with f22 fuel rail
so i need new injectors for my h22 but when i did the swap i had to use the f22a6 fuel rail so that the fuel line was on the drivers side instead of passenger side. does anyone know a good injector to go with that will fit the f22 fuel rail and plug into the h22 motor? i dont want to go with like 1000cc injectors, i have no need for that.. i have a short ram and a full bolt on exhaust... so if anything it doesnt need to be much bigger than stock... stock size i think would also be fine... i am not looking to spend a ton of money on them so try and keep it decent =P...

I think they will fit fine. try this, go to your local parts store and ask them to pull an F22 injector for you to compare to your H22 injectors. Make sure you take one of them cause they most likely wont stock the H22 ones.
the h22 ones are way bigger, and i think ill need a little bit bigger since the cams will demand more fuel and the exhaust and intake also
h22 and f22 injectors are physically the exact same size. so are civic injectors and integra injectors. matter of fact 550cc RC injectors are also physically the same size as the stock injectors and so are the 750cc ones...as long as they are for a honda.
i guess not the jdm h22 ones, because the h22 ones where again 1/2 the size of my f22
93redcb7, I work at a parts store. I pulled both f22 injectors and h22 injectors for you. They are different parts numbers, but the size is the same. I do not have flow chart on these numbers, but the plugs and size are the same..... hope that helps.

Fuel rails and pressure regulators aren't worth the money on a stock motor. If you consider the fact that you can gain HP by leaning out the stock fuel map and tuning VTEC engagement.
NA setups that don't involve opening the block don't need more fuel or cam. They need tuning, lightweight components, intake and exhaust. Adjustable cam gears are useful, and a better investment of $200 than a fuel rail and pressure regulator.

you must have something really weird going on then, i used to have a bucket of honda injectors, from D, F, H and B series. the only way i could determine the h22 injectors was the green tips, and the others I had to ohm out to make sure they were peak and hold or saturated. On every h22 swap I did (in civics, tegs, and accords, as well as JDM h22s into preludes) i swapped a usdm rail on, the usdm lude rail for the lude swaps, or a 90-93 accord f22a rail for the other cars. worked every time, it worked 12 years ago and worked 2 years ago.

what about 360cc denso injectors? i found some really cheap and have a warranty... thats not much above stock and the little extra fuel will bring the duty cycle down a bit... how are these injectors? anyone know the brand(quality brand?)
you should really check if you have a resistor box.
if you don't have a resistor box you need high impedance injectors [aka high-z or saturated injectors], or you need to wire a resistor into the plug for each injector to run low-z injectors [aka peak and hold injectors, like OBD1 H22].
BTW, running low impedance injectors on an ECU that is designed for high impedance injectors, without added resistance [resistor box], can fry the injector driver in your ECU. Effectively toasting your ECU.
