Default 93 civic ex -- Fuel pump probs.

Tester the pump regulater it is gettin power. The fuel pump itself is not. Is there a reley to the pump? or is this a sign of a bad fuel pump

Check fuses 24 and 31 and resolder the main relay:

The sending unit and pump get power from different sources. You need to take the steps I mentioned.

Default 93 Eg coupe fuel system problems

I put a couple threads up but i think people mis understood me on whats happing.
so here is my final thread for this sorry guys lol.

Bought a 93 ex of this girl and her ex boyfriend put some clorox in her gas tank.
(only paid 300). She said its only been sitting a couple month with it in clorox in it.
She only started it 3 times to see if she would get it running and then just let it set.

Fuel pump doesn't kick on.

She said she got a new fuel filter

I Tested the following relays and all work fine:

[/QUOTE]

I tested the fuel pump power plug and it was not getting power on my mutlimeter

The car turns over and runs with starting fluid fine then dies due to lack of fuel.

The thermo stat ground wire is clean.

I am stumped. I think it could be the fuel pump then again idk

plz help

Have you checked your grounds? Usually the fuel pump will not kick on if there is not a good ground. It could also be your Main relay.

There is a ground right under your seat or near by. (Drivers side)
