So today I was driving on the highway as to when i was get off the highway and then i get to the stop and the car is in neutral and its reving at 3k I press on the clutch and try to put it in first and it wont let me so i have to put it in 2nd. and sometimes i dont even press on the gas and it goes by its self like if i was pressing on the gas


Its a 1992 Civic LX Stick shift D15B7

Check your throttle cable

 

What do you think is wrong with it or what?

 

Clean the throttle body and adjust the throttle cable to have about 1/2" of slack.
