I am looking to buy a civic sedan soon. I haven't found any clear answers to my questions concerning the years and trim levels, specifically:

What years and trim levels have the bumpers that are actually paint matched body panels, and not the black plastic?
How about the auto seat belts?
Sunroof?

This questions are SEDAN related only, so the Si doesn't matter to me. If there is a thread explaining these specific questions I missed, please point me to it and delete this thread.

(And if anyone is selling their sedan, let me know!)

 

I have a 1990 ED sedan and the bumpers are the same as body color. It's a GL. I'm in Australia, not sure if same options were available around the world.

 

i think lx and ex had painted bumpers
lx and ex have power windows and doors
ex has the sunroof
9091 ex is what you want bigger brakes mpfi all stock
i think auto seat belts came in 9091 aswell

 

88-89 LX had color matched bumpers and all power doors. 90-91 was the same with the LX, however, 90-91 also had the EX which came with the same options as the LX but a more powerful D16A6 (si engine) and also larger front brakes (integra size rotors and calipers) that were not even offered on the si.

 

Thanks guys, I will be looking for a LX or EX sedan then, but they seem hard to find. There's one 5 speed for sale on all the craigslists within 500 miles of here.
