Default Auto tranny fluid change 94 RS

So my tranny shifts like complete ***

i am planning on doing a 3x3 tranny flush

My question is how many quarts of honda ATF do i need

seems like the previous owner has never changed the fluid car is sitting at 232k miles

when i put it in reveres it jumps same with every gear and it hesitates to shift

throw some gm syncromesh in there, itll smooth everything out

2.9 quarts for a drain and refill, so if your going to use all new fluid each time you flush you will need 9 quarts.

The hard/hesitated shifting could be a shift control solenoid... I don't know how honda tranny's are, but in RWD tranny's, you just drop the trans pan and can easily replace the solenoid from there.

tranny doesnt shift until i take my foot off the gas or sometimes when it does shift it will pull the car forward a little bit,

When i say jump my whole car jumps when i put it in drive or reverese and my car hesitates to shift while driving..

In Honda parlance, your tranny "bangs" when going into gear, and when upshifting. In addition, you experience "delayed upshifts".

When the delayed-upshifts happen, does the engine race (revs rise) until the next gear engages?

My trans does that, what does that mean?
