I smell fumes from my car. HELP!!

Default I smell fumes from my car. HELP!!

I just recently picked up a 94 integra with a b20b and i keep smelling gas. And my muffler makes a popping sound from time to time when its accelerating. I'm all new to this so can someone help me out?

or a fuel leak, or your car is just running really rich, or a combination of all 3. Its time to start checking everything out.

popping most likely equals backfire by too rich of a mixture as stated before.

Agreed, running rich. Also the fumes could be from a removed charcoal canister, I wouldn't be surprized if the person that swapped the engine didn't remove the canister.
